Q: How do you re-hydrate mushrooms?

A: To re-hydrate your mushrooms, we recommend using 2 cups of cold water per 1 ounce of mushrooms to let them soak for about 20 minutes. 

Q: How do you store dried mushrooms?

A: We recommend storing dried mushrooms in an air tight container so that moisture is unable to get in. 

Q: How do you store fresh mushrooms?

A: We recommend storing fresh mushrooms in the refrigerator. You may need to put a wet paper towel on top of them to regain moisture before using. 

Q: How long do dried mushrooms last?

A: Dried mushrooms should last as long as they are stored in an air tight container. Always check your mushrooms before consuming. 

Q: How long do fresh mushrooms last?

A: We recommend using fresh mushrooms within a few days to ensure they do not spoil. 

Q: How long does shipping take for dried mushrooms?

A: We ship out all dried mushroom orders within 1-2 business days. We use USPS priority shipping on dried mushroom orders. This typically takes 3-4 business days to arrive at your address.  

Q: How long does shipping take for fresh mushrooms?

A: We ship all fresh mushroom orders on Wednesday morning's. All orders must come in by Tuesday night to be shipped the following morning. We use UPS next day air, so it should arrive the following day. Please make sure someone is available to receive the package so that the mushrooms do not spoil. When we ship our mushrooms to you, they will be in perfect condition. We are not responsible for mushrooms spoiling due to weather, sitting out after delivery, etc. If there were not issues with shipping, sitting out, etc and you still believe your mushrooms are not perfect quality, please call us within an hour of delivery and be able to send pictures promptly. 

Q: Do you use any cultivated mushrooms?

A: We never use cultivated mushrooms. All of our mushrooms are always wild mushrooms.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: At this time we cannot accept returns. We do our best to provide the best quality possible. If there is an issue with the shipping, please place a claim with USPS or UPS. 

Q: Why are there bugs on my mushrooms?

A: Wild mushrooms are foraged in the woods. Because of that, there can be harmless bugs on them. You can soak your mushrooms in salt water to get rid of them before consuming.
